A custom neon sign is exactly that: one sign, made for you. Your company logo in two or three colours, your name in a script font, a line of text for above the bar. You choose the colour, the size and the backplate, or you leave it to us and we make a proposal.

You always see a digital design first. If something is not right, we change it. Production only starts after your approval. The sign is LED neon: flexible silicone instead of glass, dimmable with the remote control, and it comes with a 24-month warranty.

Most of our signs are logos and business names, but nearly anything that can be drawn in lines can be made in neon.

A bicycle shop in Amsterdam has its complete logo in three colours. A food stand takes two RGB signs along to every festival. A father had the name of his daughter's little stall made in pink. Whatever the sign is for, it works the same way: you send what you have, we draw it, you decide.

Custom logo

A bicycle shop's logo, in three colours

For bicycle shop Van Speijk Tweewielers in Amsterdamse Poort, in Amsterdam Zuidoost, we made the complete logo: the name in yellow, the gear in red and the line below it in white.

This is not text on a clear panel. The backplate is black and cut along the shape of the logo, so the sign still reads as a logo during the day, when it is switched off. The large photo shows it off, the small one on.

Name sign

A name sign for her own little stall

A father from Amsterdam built his daughter her own little stall: painted pink, with an awning that folds open and a string of lights inside. The only thing still missing was the name.

That is the part we made. “Chloe's winkeltje” in pink neon, in a script font that suits the stall. The letters sit on a transparent panel, so you see the pink wood right through it and only the text lights up.

The name, large on the showroom wall

For Motorhandel Meijering in Loenen we made the name of the business for the showroom: red neon in a script font, on two lines.

The sign hangs on the white brick wall, above the motorcycles. Red on white is still easy to read from the back of the showroom.

RGB logo

A logo that can change colour at every festival

Van Dils takes their food stand to festivals and events. The photo shows the stand on the grounds of the Jaarbeurs in Utrecht, with their logo in green neon on the front.

We made two identical signs, in RGB. With the remote control they choose the colour and the brightness themselves, so the logo does not have to be green at every event.

What does a custom neon sign cost?

Almost every sign we make is custom: a logo, your own design or a name in the style of your business. That is why we calculate the price per request. On working days you have it within 3 hours, together with a free design. A sign starts from €154.79 excl. VAT.

Frequently asked questions

What is an LED neon sign?

An LED neon sign gives the same glow as classic glass neon, but it is made of flexible silicone with LED inside instead of glass tubes and gas. That makes it lighter, safer and more energy-efficient. An average sign weighs 2 to 3 kg and uses 50 to 80 watts.

How long does delivery take, and what does it cost?

On average 6–8 working days from the moment we receive your payment, production and shipping included. Delivery in the Netherlands and Belgium is free. You get a tracking code as soon as the sign has been shipped.

Do you deliver outside the Netherlands and Belgium?

Free delivery applies to the Netherlands and Belgium. For other countries, email your address to info@neoncity.store and we will look at delivery time and costs together.

Can the sign be used outdoors?

The standard sign is made for indoor use. For outdoors there is a weather-resistant IP67 version, made for full outdoor use; only the adapter and the socket need to stay dry. It costs 20% extra.

Which colours can I choose?

There are 13 fixed colours: warm white, cool white, red, light pink, pink, yellow, orange, gold, green, ice blue, teal, blue and purple. With the RGB option you change the colour yourself with the remote control. RGB costs 25% extra.

How can I pay?

Through our secure Stripe checkout: iDEAL, Bancontact, credit card (Visa, Mastercard, American Express), Apple Pay and Google Pay. For business orders, payment by invoice is possible by arrangement. Production starts once the payment has been received.

What about warranty and returns?

Every sign comes with a 24-month warranty from the delivery date. Because each sign is made to order from the design you approved, it cannot be returned if you change your mind. If it arrives damaged or has a defect, report it within 24 hours with photos and we repair or replace it.

What is in the box, and how do I mount it?

The sign comes with a mounting kit (screws, wall plugs and steel wire), a remote control, a dimmer and a power cable. You can screw it to the wall, hang it from the ceiling on steel wire or place it on a stand. You only need a drill for wall mounting; most customers have it up within 5 to 10 minutes.
